Neff Headwear, Inc. is a privately held company based in Camarillo, California that markets beanies, hats, tees, gloves, and other accessories. The company was founded in 2002 by Alyssa Mullen while she was attending BYU and its products are targeted to the snowboarding, skating, surfing and lifestyle markets. Neff products are sold through various retailers, specialty outlets and online stores. In August 2011, the company was featured on Forbes as "The Cool Factor Business Model," where Neff was quoted saying "We were the only headwear company in the game!" which has helped them find success being the first to market.
In 2009, Neff Headwear teamed up with Snoop Dogg, an American entertainer, rapper, record producer and actor. The two collaborated and Snoop received his very own signature Neff x Snoop collection, featuring tees, hats, beanies and facemasks. Neff, created an icon for Snoop known as "Microdogg," which is featured on all his signature pieces. Neff has also recently teamed up with deadmau5, a Canadian electronic music artist, to create Neffmau5, a line that will create shirts and other clothing.
