Your Favorite Sunglasses = Last Minute Halloween Costume

Have a Halloween party coming up this weekend? Need to get ready for Trick-or-Treating?

Why go to a party store and spend $$$ on a costume when you could piece together an outfit from your closet?

WE’RE HERE TO HELP! Grab your favorite pair of sunglasses (or get a new pair from us) and get ready to raid your closets…

1. John Lennon

The man who made round sunglasses popular, you’ll want to pick up a pair similar to these Ray-Bans: RB3447N.

Clothing: simple jean jacket and white t-shirt. Bonus points if it’s a New York City graphic tee.

2. Audrey Hepburn

And I said, "What about Breakfast at Tiffany's?"

The perfect pair of sunglasses to go with this iconic look: Tom Ford Alistair shades. The 60s inspired cat eye frame replicates the style of the world renowned fashion icon herself.

Clothing: LBD- little black dress, black arm gloves, chunky pearl necklace (costume jewelry of course), and we can’t forget… a tiara to top it all off! Alright, chance of you having a chunky necklace and tiara in your home already are slim but hey, you never know!

3. Elton John

This one might need some DIY crafting, but it’s all about the wild styles. Grab your favorite pair of funky sunglasses, like these Tory Burch shades or the Prada 27NS.

The sunglasses are definitely the focal point of your Elton John inspired outfit. Next, choose a complimenting outfit, like an all-white ensemble pictured above. Don’t be afraid to rip up a feather boa or glue something sparkly on your outfit.

4. Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis

Jackie O is the definition of #AmericanIcon. Now most of us girls don’t have a Chanel suit hanging around in our closet, but it’s easy to recreate this look using business clothes/raiding a second-hand store. Don’t forget your fake pearls, gloves, and pill box hat!

For sunglasses, Ray-Ban famously coined a pair of sunglasses after the icon herself. Check them out here.

5. Andy Warhol

Simple: black on black on black. Black turtle neck paired with a black leather jacket, and black sunglasses. Luckily Ray-Ban has a style named after this icon as well! Shop the Andy look here.

Oh, of course, you can’t forget your blonde wig!
